Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what this covers

Ideogram Vector ("Ideogram Vector", "we", "us") runs the website at ideogramvector.org and the SVG generation studio on it (together, the "Service"). These Terms are a contract between you and us. If you sign up, buy credits or otherwise use the Service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

Ideogram Vector is an independent product. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Ideogram. "Ideogram" is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe the models the Service relies on.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher.
You need an account with a verified email address before you can generate anything.
Keep your password and sign-in methods private. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
One person per account. Do not share, sell or transfer an account.

3. What the Service does

The studio offers two modes:

Text to SVG sends your prompt, the style preset you pick and any reference images you attach to Ideogram's text-to-vector model.
Image to SVG sends the image you upload to Ideogram's image-to-vector model.

Both models are operated for us by fal.ai. Output comes from machine learning models and can be inaccurate, unexpected or similar to output produced for other people. Please review every file before you rely on it.

4. Credits

Credits are the unit used to pay for generations. The cost of each mode and quality level is listed on the pricing page and in the studio before you run it.
Credits are reserved when a run starts. If the run fails, they are returned to your balance automatically.
New accounts receive a one-time sign-up bonus. Bonus credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.
When you hold both, subscription credits are spent before credit-pack credits.
Credits are a prepaid licence to use the Service. They are not money, a deposit or a stored-value product and cannot be redeemed for cash.

5. Subscriptions

Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price then shown, until you cancel.
Every plan grants its credit allowance once per monthly cycle, including yearly plans, which receive their allowance month by month.
Unused subscription credits expire at the end of each monthly cycle and do not carry over.
You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan and its remaining credits stay available until the end of the period you have paid for.
Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged pro rata. Downgrades and interval changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.

6. Credit packs

Credit packs are one-time purchases. Their credits do not expire while your account remains open.

7. Payments, taxes and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Prices are set in US dollars. Stripe may show an approximate amount in your local currency. Taxes are added where required.
Because credits are delivered as soon as payment succeeds, purchases are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us within 14 days and we will review it.
If a payment is refunded or reversed, the unused credits it added are removed. Refunding the current period of a subscription also removes that period's remaining plan credits, and no further monthly credits are granted for that period.
If a payment is disputed or fails, we may pause generation on the account until it is resolved.

8. Your content and the files you create

Your inputs. You keep whatever rights you have in your prompts and uploads. You give us a limited permission to store, process and transmit them only to run the Service for you.
Your outputs. As between you and us, you may use the SVG files you generate for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the usage policies of the model providers. We do not claim ownership of them.
No guarantee of exclusivity or protection. AI-generated works may not be protected by copyright in every country, and other users may receive similar results. Before registering or relying on a design as a logo or trademark, check that it does not conflict with existing rights.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

upload material you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights;
create content that is unlawful, sexualises minors, promotes violence or hatred, or harasses anyone;
imitate a real brand, organisation or person in a way that could mislead people;
probe, overload or disrupt the Service, get around credit limits, or access it with scripts or bots without our written permission;
resell raw access to the Service.

We may decline a request, remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where a suspension is for a serious breach, unused credits may be forfeited.

10. Changes to the Service and prices

We may add, change or remove features, models, credit costs or prices. A price change never affects a billing period you have already paid for; for subscriptions it applies from your next renewal, and we will give notice before it does.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
