The personal data Ideogram Vector handles, the reasons, the companies involved and the choices you have

This policy describes how Ideogram Vector ("we") handles personal data when you visit ideogramvector.org or use the SVG studio. We act as the data controller for the data described here.
At a glance
- We collect what we need to run your account, make your SVGs and bill you.
- Your prompts, uploads and results are private to your account and are not used to train any model of ours.
- We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
- You can delete your files or your whole account yourself, at any time.
What we collect

We do not receive your full card details. Stripe collects them directly.
Why we use it
- To provide the Service (performing our contract with you): signing you in, running generations, saving your library, granting and charging credits.
- To bill you and meet legal duties (contract and legal obligation): invoices, tax records and fraud prevention.
- To keep the Service safe (legitimate interest): detecting abuse, rate limiting and debugging failures.
- To improve the product (legitimate interest): aggregate statistics about which features are used.
- To email you: account messages such as verification and password resets. Product news only if you are subscribed, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We rely on a short list of processors, each bound by its own data processing terms:
- fal.ai: runs the Ideogram vector models. Your prompt is sent with each generation; uploaded and reference images are placed in fal.ai's temporary file storage so the model can read them.
- Stripe: payments, subscriptions, invoices and tax.
- Cloudflare: hosting, database and storage of your SVG files.
- Email provider (Resend): delivery of account emails and newsletters.
- Analytics tools, when enabled: aggregate traffic measurement.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our users or the Service from fraud or abuse.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Generated SVGs and their prompts: until you remove them from your library or delete your account.
- Uploaded source and reference images: held in fal.ai's temporary storage for up to one hour while the model reads them, then deleted. They are not kept in your library.
- Account data: for as long as your account exists.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 10 years).
- Server logs: a short rolling window, normally no longer than 30 days.
Your choices and rights
In your account you can remove individual SVGs, edit your profile and delete the account entirely. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA), you can also ask to access, correct, export, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. Send requests through the contact page; we answer within 30 days.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored as hashes, and access to production systems is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced by email or on the site.
